Passover Birds

My favorite thing about Passover, aside of drinking 4 glasses of wine, then singing a bunch of truely wild songs in Aramaic is that is celebrated liberation, going from slavery to freedom. One of the concepts that is repeated through the Passover Ha'gada (book of prayer, song and a retelling of the Passover story) is that every person should think of themselves as if they were once slaves are are now free. If encourage us to contemplate the meaning of our own freedom and reminds us to have gratitude toward our ancestors who risked themselves in the fight for freedom. I've made 3 version of this pattern, one in Hebrew, translating to "happy liberty holiday", one of the names of Passover. One with English "happy Passover" and one with the name of one of my favorite poems about freedom "I know why the caged bird sings" by Mia Angelou, in case you don't celebrate Passover or want something that's appropriate year around.
